Messaging like this took a long time to arrive, but once it did, the expected understanding should have followed ? Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked and though things are a bit better we are still seeing serious concerns for those who cannot wear a face covering & are exempt from so doing......

What kind of mutterings, rants, information, commentary and generally opinionated content can you expect to see here !!

The Blue Badge Blog started out life on another site where the subject matter was still very much 'accessibility' but the focus was almost solely on accessible tourism. A few years on and I'm pleased to say it is time to dust off the blog but, in the language of the Covid times in which we live, 're purpose' things towards the wider definition of accessibility and include all manner of good stuff around rail and bus sectors, employment and yes, still with a big focus on accessible tourism / travel.

There is a lot to go at as even a brief glance sideways at Google Alerts will evidence. There will be discussions about crucial aspects of rail and bus travel for those with an impairment of any kind, visible or hidden. Guest bloggers will hopefully arrive to add their two penneth worth. But we will also look to the 'BBB' to carry NEWS updates & commentary on a wide range of accessibility matters (see what I did there!) though again, you will spot a focus on the rail and bus sectors.

So the Blue Badge Blog is back and rearing to go ! Please do take the opportunity to contribute, comment, debate, support or just read and come back from time to time.
